LEED Gold. A new 70,000 GSF addition was developed that connects to the existing 1964 Isenberg building that coupled with the 2004 Alfond addition had outgrown its space for faculty and program. The new Business Innovation Hub created new indoor and outdoor space for the school.
The first floor of the new space contains classrooms, a trading room, cafe, and the multi-story Learning Commons with its dramatic use of light and form. The outdoor space created an open air courtyard.
The exterior features a dramatic circular form developed with vertical glass and copper panels. The distinctive design creates a seamless juxtaposition with the adjacent Fine Arts Center.
