Details:
Fit-out of approximately 4,500 sq ft. for laboratory and glass wash facility in the basement of the Bauer building. Approximately 2,800 square foot is the glasswash facility and the remaining is lab space for Dr. Lee Rubin. Lab space was designed for stem cell research with bench space, office space and equipment space. The glass wash facility is designed for use by the entire Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology group that is currently present in the Bauer building and for all the users moving into the Fairchild Building after the retrofit. This facility was designed to accommodate the needs of almost 100-120 active researching graduate students. The facility has autoclaves, bulk sterilizers, regular sterilizers, bulk washers etc. Specially designed detergent dispersal system for all the washers was installed. The glass wash also has room for media preparation within the kitchen facility.
