Jen Carlson

Project Manager

Jen has over 12 years of experience in design and construction management. Her degree in Architecture, experience working for and with the Massachusetts School Building Authority on school projects around the Commonwealth, and years working in construction management, allow her to bring a uniquely comprehensive perspective of all project aspects to her career as an Owner’s Project Manager. Jen has experience in multiple construction delivery methods, and extensive experience in public procurement. Her organizational and communication skills allow her to coordinate easily with all stakeholders involved in a project.

While Jen has worked on a number of K–12 school projects, military housing, and private projects, she has also worked on higher education capital projects and utility upgrades. During her years spent on the construction side of the table, Jen assisted in the management of a new high-efficiency cogeneration plant for MIT’s campus that includes two new 22-megawatt natural gas turbines and heat recovery steam generators that provide electricity, steam, and chilled water to campus.

Outside of work, Jen is an avid gardener, hiker, and general outdoors person. She also thoroughly enjoys honing her design skills by decorating, redecorating……and redecorating the home she shares with her husband and their two hounds.
