LeftField was selected to provide project management and construction administration for the Peggy Hannon-Rizza [PHR] Recreation Complex located in Billerica, MA. PHR is home to many of the Town’s football, lacrosse, and soccer youth programs as well as adult and youth softball leagues. LeftField, the Town, and Warner Larson Landscape Architects have collaborated with the user groups to form the vision for this exciting project. The vision for this project is to create a premier athletic experience for players & spectators, provide a year-round multi-generational park with passive and active opportunities for residents and implement sustainable design practices throughout the park.

The project includes 2 new turf fields, 2 new softball fields, a central plaza hub with a new concession and restrooms building, space for additional sports including ping-pong, cornhole & bocce, connecting walkways to the existing trail loops and bike paths and space for food trucks to gather to serve the community during events.
