LeftField was selected to support DCAMM in the management of the 490 seat Sophia Gordon Creative & Performing Arts Center renovation.

The renovation, which achieved LEED Silver, transformed the 1958 Mainstage Theater into a state-of-the-art performance and theatrical teaching space. This conversion included an orchestra lift, catwalk, scene shop, sounds lab, dimmer room, rehearsal room, green room, and several dressing rooms. The renovation allowed for improved site lines and the introduction of a balcony that improved the viewing experience.
