LeftField was selected as the OPM for the new 3-story, 30,000 sf addition and renovation of Springfield Central High School’s Science Building.

The project consisted of creating lab space that is consistent with the MSBA’s SLI design guidelines, including 12 new labs within the 3-story addition and 6 renovated labs within the existing building. This included a new roof and sprinklers across the entire building.

The project was procured utilizing Chapter 149A; with early packages including the roof and sprinkler scopes as this work had to be completed over two summers.
